About Leatherwoood Plastics

Who We Are

LEATHERWOOD PLASTICS was formed in 1980 by Dwight Leatherwood, to serve high technology industries by manufacturing and installing superior wet processing equipment. Production capabilities are enhanced by a Class 1000 Clean Room for final assembly, final test, QA, and packaging of semiconductor production and cleaning equipment.  State of the art computer-controlled fabrication equipment and highly skilled craftsmen contribute to the ultimate quality and reliability of the product.

We are proud to be an American supplier, based in Texas, to the Clean Manufacturing industries. Providing superior products for over 30 years.

What We Do

LEATHERWOOD PLASTICS design, fabricate, install standard and customized products.

The standard and custom-designed products are manufactured from chemical-resistant plastics, stainless steel, or other appropriate materials.

Custom plastic fabrication combined with compact automated control systems allow products to be tailored to exact customer needs.  Modification of existing equipment is often done as an economical alternative to new equipment.

LEATHERWOOD PLASTICS, is a global leader in design and fabricate Wet Processing and Clean Room Equipments. Providing World class Wet Process and Storage Equipment for the Semiconductor, MEMS, Pharmaceutical, Printed Circuit Board and Plating Industry…..for over 30 years

It’s all about Quality and Experience.

You can expect quality in our products, and trust our experience. We use rigid SEMI Standards as our design and construction guidelines, and third-party safety inspections are available for product certifications.

Custom plastic fabrication combined with efficient, reliable control systems allow products to be tailored to exact customer needs.Whether you need a single tank or complete process system, we have the experience to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Acid Solvent bottle washers:

Acid bottle wash units are built of polypropylene, and are designed to safely rinse plastic or glass gallon-size bottles prior to disposal. The enclosed rinse chamber is designed with safety interlocks to protect the operator from spray during run cycles. A pulsating stream rinses the interior of the bottle while the exterior is bathed in a fine spray. A timer allows the user to select the duration of the spray, which also determines the degree of rinsing accomplished. An optional conductivity meter can be used to monitor the waste stream and terminate the rinse cycle at preset levels.
